This readme file describes the .STA datafiles provided for the Windcube v2 deployed in support of XPIA near the Boulder Atmospheric Observatory in Mar-May 2015. For questions, please contact Julie.Lundquist@colorado.edu, 303/492-8932. If you use these data, please contact Julie regarding citations/authorship. This Windcube is a Leosphere WINDCUBE® v2 Offshore 8.66 profiling lidar. ------------------------------- As of 12 March 2015, this units was located at the "lidar super-site" at the middle south guy of the BAO: 40.004881N, 105.0039W, 1582msl per google earth. The .STA data files provide two-minute averages of wind speed and wind direction at eleven vertical levels. The useful header starts on line 41 and the data start on line 42. The eleven altitudes are defined in line 39 and in the header of line 41 Date/Time: YYYY/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS UTC at the end of the period.
